Welcome
to our Heritage Gallery

Our Heritage Gallery is a celebration of who we are, where we come from, and the traditions we proudly carry forward. Here, we share moments that reflect our culture in action, our participation in community events, and guest speakers who inspire us. Each photo and video honors the families, the stories, and the values passed down through generations. This is our legacy, living, growing, and shared with pride.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Robert (Bob) Fonti, President of the Lt. Det. Joseph Petrosino Association in America, founding member of the Respect for Law Alliance (501(c)(3)), Chairman of the Town of Huntington Housing Authority, and active leader in numerous civic and cultural organizations, to speak with our membership.

We visited with our Business Sponsor, Valenti Pharmacy, where owner Anthony Valenti shared the importance of his Italian heritage and the values it continues to inspire. We are grateful for his support and contribution to our mission.

Francesco D’Amico Shares the Work of His Father, Poet and Author Nino D’Amico

At our recent members meeting, we had the pleasure of welcoming our business sponsor and friend Francesco D’Amico, who shared a heartfelt presentation on the literary works of his father, Nino D’Amico. A poet and historian of his hometown Borgetto (Sicilia), Nino has dedicated his writing to preserving the traditions, dialect, and spirit of the community he grew up in.

Through three beautifully written volumes, he captures the stories, expressions, and everyday life of Sicilian culture “as it once was,” offering future generations a window into the rich heritage and identity of Borgetto. His work serves as a reminder of where we come from—and the importance of keeping those memories alive.

At our November 2025 Members Meeting, we proudly recognized the FDNY Columbia Association, with Enrico Boletti accepting the award on their behalf. We also welcomed and inducted our newest business sponsors,  Pio Bonfitto of ICAS and Salvatore Funari of SDP Mechanical, whose support strengthens our mission and our community.
